I am a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of disordered eating, body image issues, depression, anxiety, stress management, major life transitions, and relationship issues.
My passion lies in helping others find inner peace and freedom by creating more meaningful and fulfilling lives. My treatment philosophy is influenced by psychodynamic theory. I also incorporate dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) interventions and other eclectic approaches to best meet the needs of my clients. I believe that the core of our present experiences can be linked to our past. As such, I encourage reflection on your past, connecting with unexpressed thoughts, feelings, and needs, and creating meaning in prior and existing struggles. Above all, the most powerful healing comes from the therapeutic connection. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, authentic, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their experiences and pain while gaining insight, healing emotional wounds, and achieving growth and change.
I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient hospitalization, residential, outpatient, and private practice. I have worked with individuals suffering from chronic mental illness, the geriatric population, at-risk youth and their families, and those struggling with eating and co-occurring disorders.
