About Rebecca Striebinger
What led you to join this profession?
I first became a nurse after my daughter was born prematurely. I was so inspired by our care and the miracle of my daughter’s life. I worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse for seven years and, in that time, realized I wanted to further my career in the field that I love and become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Caring for women and their families has brought me such joy and I am so proud to be a part of this incredible team at Susquehanna.
What do you enjoy most about your profession?
What I enjoy most about being a Nurse Midwife is the chance to truly connect with my patients. I love spending the time to guide women through their pregnancies and experience with them the joy of bringing their children into the world. I want women to feel comfortable in their women’s health experience and I hope to give that to all of my patients.
A little more about myself.
My husband and I have three amazing children together, who keep us busy and on our toes! Our big goldendoodle, Jax, is our family’s mascot and puts a smile on our faces every day. We love spending family time together and watching our kids play all of their sports from football to baseball, to soccer. My husband and I enjoy playing pool together and spending time at the beach!
