“Just had my first appointment this week and I am super happy. She's very professional and knowledgeable. She explained a lot of things I didn't know and explored possible diagnosis that no one had brought up with me before (and I've been been in MH treatment for a few years now). And the clinic process has been smooth so far - I especially like their patient portal. It make it easy to communicate with the doc when I have had questions. ”

A Harvard-trained psychiatrist, Dr. Ukaegbu earned her Doctor of Medicine from UMass Chan Medical School and completed psychiatry residencies at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. With experience at two of the nation's premier hospitals, she leverages expertise in therapy, medication management, and innovative treatments to support patients in their journey to self-mastery. With a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach, Dr. Ukaegbu focuses on understanding the impact of patients' backgrounds, families of origin, and lived experiences on their mental well-being. What an amazing physician. She took the time to really inquire as to what was going on and was measured and compassionate in her treatment. She was also very willing to listen to what has worked for me in the past but without closing the door on other options should they become necessary. I have found an exceptional provider and for that, I am extremely grateful!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ukaegbu's for the past year and would highly recommend her to anyone. She takes the time to listen and not make you feel rushed during appointments. When I first started seeing her, I had a lot of tough things going on in my life and she really helped me get through it. I finally have a schedule of medications that work for me for the first time in a long time.
