Dr. Reham Sadek, MD is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist specializing in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency training at Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University in 2010. She followed this with a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of South Florida, Tampa, in 2012. With a rich background in outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, she is passionate about the transformative power of mental health treatment. She firmly believes that mental health is as crucial as physical health. Dr. Sadek is always advocating for the understanding that mental illness deserves serious attention and care. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a devoted wife and proud mother of a remarkable teenager. Life's challenges, including a divorce, have provided valuable lessons that enriched her empathetic approach to patient care. Outside the clinic, she cherishes time with family and friends, enjoys the tranquility of the beach, and indulges her curiosity through travel and continuous learning. In her journey, she has witnessed the life-changing impact of mental health treatment, reinforcing her commitment to improving lives and enhancing overall well-being. Dr. Sadek has a passion for books and reading; she published her first book on resilience in 2023. She is currently working on her second book on parenting kids with ADHD.
What should a new client know about working with you?
We DO NOT accept any form of Medicaid, Medicare, or government insurance.
As a dedicated psychiatrist, I appreciate each patient's unique experiences and needs. I deeply value your input and actively listen to fully understand your concerns. Family involvement is welcome in the treatment process, provided you're comfortable with it. My commitment to honesty is unwavering, grounded in my duty to do no harm; I provide straightforward feedback and opinions aimed at fostering clarity and effective treatment rather than simply telling you what you might want to hear. Together, we will explore the best pathways to support your mental health and well-being.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
1. You will be notified when that happens.
2. When you request an appointment, we will create a patient profile in our EHR using your information, including your insurance if applicable. If you are using insurance, you will receive an email from Headway, our insurance processor.
3. Your information and appointment details will be entered into our Electronic Health Records (EHR). You will then receive an email from IntakeQ with a link for the video appointment and intake forms, consent forms, and an invitation to join our patient portal, which is crucial for ongoing communication.
4. Credit Card Information: At this stage, we will collect credit card information to keep on file.
5. Intake Forms Completion: You must complete and submit the intake forms provided, including the necessary consent forms, to proceed with the appointment.
6. Appointment Procedure: At the scheduled appointment time, log in using the link provided in the email to join the video call.
7. Post-Appointment: If applicable, prescriptions will be sent to your designated pharmacy, and a superbill will be provided if requested.
8. No-Show Policy: A $75 fee will be charged to the credit card on file in case of a no-show.
9. Cancellation Policy: If, after booking your appointment, you realize that you cannot make it, ensure that you cancel it as soon as possible to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.
