About Renee Ruggiero
Renee is a licensed acupuncturist. She received her Masters in Health Science and Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health Sciences in New York.
Renee specializes in treating patients suffering with psycho-emotional conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, insomnia, and grief. She specializes and excels in treating pediatrics and has a lot of experience treating children as young as 7 months old for developmental delays, allergies, and asthma. She also specializes in women’s health issues and infertility. In addition to treating patients traditionally with needles she prefers to incorporate electrical stimulation, cupping, gua sha, moxa, and topical herbal formulas into her treatments based on the patients needs. She also has special training in performing single point acupuncture treatments, in order to deliver a very focused method of healing for patients, especially for those who are adverse to needles or are new to acupuncture.
Renee has a rich background in yoga, and did her first yoga teacher training in 2009, and since then has taken over 2,000 hours of yoga teacher trainings, including an 800 Dharma Yoga psychic development training, prenatal yoga training, Ashtanga, and hot yoga. She has led teacher trainings for Dharma Yoga Wheel. She enjoys incorporating her knowledge of physical yoga stretches as well as meditative techniques from her yoga training into her acupuncture treatments.
Renee is currently recording a podcast along with her best friend and yoga partner Raquel called She Wolf podcast for educational healing. It combines their years of yoga, martial arts and traditional Chinese medicine experience in order to share with and help others.

My first time seeing Renee today and she was amazing! I received acupuncture, herbal oil peppermint treatment and a new one for me, a moxa treatment. Renee explained everything to me as she was doing it and she even recommended a nightly treatment for me to do at home with lavender essential oil to aid me with my insomnia issues. The office had beautiful, soft, meditative music playing and smelled and looked very peaceful. The atmosphere is perfect and so calming! I walked back out into my chaotic life feeling truly zen and I will be going back for continued treatments with Renee for sure! 5+++ stars! Highly recommended!
