About Dr. Ria Patel

Ria Patel, O.D., MBA is a Board-licensed comprehensive optometrist serving patients at our Kennesaw location. Dr. Patel offers a range of services including comprehensive eye exams with prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses, and treatment of various ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, among others. She earned her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham after attending the University of Georgia where she received an undergraduate degree in Biology, Pre-Optometry. She is an active member of the Georgia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. For Dr. Patel, the most rewarding part of her role as an optometrist is being able to improve the quality of patients’ lives and cultivate meaningful relationships with patients. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
