About Dr. Richard Beyerlein
Dr. Beyerlein has been passionately committed to improving women's health care for over 30 years. When he founded Pacific Women's Center in 1996, it was to provide an atmosphere where physicians can strive for excellence and offer state-of-the-art care in all phases of a woman's life.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University and completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Due to his commitment to women's health care, Dr. Beyerlein has held leadership, teaching, and mentorship roles in obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecologic surgery. He served as chief of obstetrics and gynecology at PeaceHealth Hospital and McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center and participated in each hospital's executive and quality assurance committees.
He is no longer seeing patients for Obstetrics/Pregnancy.
Dr. Beyerlein has guest lectured across the U.S. and abroad on various obstetrics, gynecology, and gynecologic surgery topics. These experiences allowed him to meet, learn from, and teach with some of the most respected physicians worldwide.
He has advanced women's health care by serving as a principal investigator for over 25 years in studies developing testing and treatments for conditions including endometriosis, cervical cancer prevention, uterine leiomyoma, and post-menopausal disorder management.
In recognition of his efforts and commitment, he has received multiple awards for outstanding performance in medicine, excellence in teaching, and research contributions in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Beyerlein is happily married for over 30 years and grateful to have raised three children, along with multiple animals including cats, dogs, and a horse.
He is currently not taking new patients with OHP Insurance.

I love the whole team here. They are so nice and amazing to work with. Dr. Beyerlein is literally the best and I’m so glad I had him for both of my babies. I cant rave enough about the care here, the best in Eugene hands down.

Dr Beyerlein has been my doctor for over 15 years now! He's always been fabulous. In the office and during deliveries. He always answers your questions and never makes you feel rushed. I have delivered 7 babies and he was there for each one. I couldn't imagine seeing another doctor.

Dr Beyerlein has been my OB/Gyn for years and delivered all three of my children. I still see him for annual visits and he is such a wonderful doctor! Always listens carefully to any concerns and offers good options. He is awesome and I have recommended him to many people over the years!

There is not a better care provider and surgeon in Eugene. Dr. Beyerlien treats me with such respect and kindness. I encourage you to give him a try. I have nothing but praise for him.

Dr Beyerlein is the best. He has great bedside manner for me and for my husband when he came to my OB appointments when I was pregnant. I have never felt awkward with him. The best recommendation I can give, was that, when I was looking for an OBGYN, I asked a friend who worked for the group which doctor she’d see. She told me Dr Beyerlein, hands down. The other doctors there have been great, but he’s my favorite.
