About Dr. Richard Bothfeld

Rich grew up in Northern Vermont on a dairy farm; his father tended the farm and his mother was a classically trained soprano performing with various choral and symphonic groups, teaching, and giving recitals. Before becoming an audiologist, Rich taught high school German in Virginia. Rich moved back to New England in 1999 to pursue his new career in Audiology. After moving to Maine in 2009, he fell in love with the Pine Tree State taking advantage of its natural wonders as well as its many cultural offerings and opportunities. In his free time, Rich enjoys travel, hiking, biking, and kayaking. In the past, he has performed with several choral groups in Virginia, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Rich and his husband live in Hallowell as dutiful servants to the household cat.
