“Richard has been great. He listens to understand the root cause of the issues I face, while offering suggestions either to reframe my thinking or ways to manage my expectations. He is knowledgeable and offers many insights I would have never had the perspective to see. Sometimes we talk over each other or interrupt, but I think this really only happens when he has heard something for which he has feedback to provide in real-time and, therefore, I do not take offense to this.”

Getting to know Dr. Richard Lewis

Is emotional upheaval getting in the way of your moving forward with your life? I would love the opportunity to help you sort through the sources of these emotions, make them more manageable, and help you regain a sense of direction and progress. Working toward more refined beliefs and understanding about emotions, circumstances, and responses can be very helpful. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. In my roughly 27 years as a psychologist, I have mostly worked with people experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger, relationship problems, and aging issues. I have worked with clients ranging in age from elementary school children to those in their 70s and beyond. Over time, I have found that my experience allows me to recognize client needs more quickly than in my early years of practice, and I hope to use this experience to your benefit.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
