“I had an amazing experience with Dr. Pizzo and highly recommend this practice. From the moment the appointment began, he made me feel incredibly comfortable, creating an environment where I felt safe sharing all of my health concerns. He is an active listener who is clearly very knowledgeable. Rather than simply telling me what to do, he presented several well-explained options, and we worked together to decide on the best path forward. I left the office feeling heard, respected, and very happy with the care I received.”

“Front staff was able to assist me right away and was friendly. I waited maybe 10 minutes and I was called. X-ray tech was also very nice and made me feel comfortable. It's a good location, various forms of transportation close by. Had good bedside manner and did listen to my concern and what I had detailed. He provided me with next steps and suggestions and instructions. Worked efficiently, my visit was not super long but just long enough.”

Doctor Pizzo was dismissive, curt and uncaring when I tried to explain my job situation and how my injury affected it.
Listened to my concerns and explained things very well. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to do anything .

Dr. Pizzo was condescending and dismissive of my pain concerns, but I could deal with that. The biggest problem is that I need an MRI, and the doctor said he would request authorization from my insurance. After two weeks I called to check in and no authorization request had ever been made - the person on the phone said "the doctor probably forgot" and promised the authorization would be requested that day. A few days later the authorization has still not been requested, so I'm left in severe pain and with no idea what's happening here.

Dr Pizzo was nice, told him I had shoulder discomfort and he did a few checks like checking the Xray, and a few tests to check if I had pain. But he seemed rushed and at the end felt like he was just prescribing whatever standard medicine and PT. Didn’t get the sense that he genuinely cared to understand my symptoms and what might be causing them. Might have been an off day
Very disappointed. Dismissive doctor who became offended when patient brought test results from an outside testing center obtained prior to appointment. Tests which were ordered from primary care physician after being referred to specialist. Exact words from Pizzo: " I won't have a patient tell me what's wrong. " Avoid this doctor and the facility - whichever one they end up working in - save yourself the time and embarrassment. Fun note: doctor cancelled appointment on zocdoc after patient left building as to avoid having a negative review posted against him.
Excellent
He’s the second awesome ortho I see with Summit. First was Buzin for workers’ comp. Pizzo was for a personal injury, and not only a great listener, like Buzin, but also not pushy. He left his door open to any future concerns I would possibly need to address, or a change of mind.

Great experince fast and no long waiting time.

Excellent Doctor, excellent staff and office!!!

Dr. Pizzo, was very informative, took my ganglion cyst concern seriously, provided knowledgeable information, although there’s not that much that can be done for my situation but still helped me come to a temporary solution nonetheless during my appointment. Made sure to ask if I was feeling okay or needed to lay down during the procedure. Will for sure be coming back for my aspirate fix anytime I feel the need or am feeling pain again.
Verified patient
Very nice doctor. Explained things clearly

Highly recommend
Had a great appointment with Dr. Pizzo for a recurring pain issue I had been having. I was taken in for Xrays relatively quickly after arriving for the appointment and then had my actual appointment with Dr. Pizzo a bit later. He was very empathetic as I explained my situation and he recommended some next steps we can take so we can figure out what is causing the issue. Overall had a good experience and would see him again if the need arises.

The office is very nice and the staff is friendly enough, but not to concerned about the patients. I was very surprised to be waiting while the receptionists were sorting out the lunch order. Quite rude and far from professional.
Verified patient
I was seen in a timely manner when I arrived for my scheduled appointment. Every staff I encountered was friendly and very professional. Dr. Pizzo was kind and patiently answered all of my questions and I didn't feel like I was being rushed. He recommended a treatment plan and respected my wishes for what I was willing to do and not do at this time. The office spaces were very clean and appeared very organized.

New off ice construction very modern and clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Dr Pizzo was great and very informative and compassionate.

I would most definitely recommend Dr. Pizzo to anyone I know. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I will be doing my follow ups.
Verified patient
This was my first visit. Dr. Pizzo is very personable as well as knowledgeable. He listened well and explained everything in great detail. He did not try to pressure me to do anything. I agreed to an injection to my wrist because it made sense to me to do so. Dr. Pizzo administered the injection so skillfully that I only felt some discomfort - not the severe pain I was expecting to feel. He even informed me of the possible risks before administering the injection. No provider has ever done this before. I am pleased so far.
Great experience! Thanks so much
Dr. Pizzo took me by surprise with his professional, caring/concerning mannerism, his vast knowledge of medical, surgical and homeopathic/natural remedies/options or choices. It doesn't happen much in today's society; however, I was quite surprised in a pleasant way! Dr. P, "Good job!".
Attention to detail. Good bed side manner. Friendly, understanding and transparent. These are words that came to mind after my experience.
It’s a very modern, clean and up-to-date facility. The staff is knowledgeable and cordial. And the doctor was very thorough and kind in his explanations. ?
