Dr. Rinu Sharon Varghese is a board-certified internal medicine physician with additional board certification in geriatric medicine, proudly serving patients at Texan Primary Care in Arlington, Texas. Dr. Varghese completed her residency in internal medicine at Medical City Arlington, where she also served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. She is currently advancing her expertise through a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at JPS Health Network. With experience in both primary care and hospital settings, she brings a comprehensive approach to managing complex medical conditions across all adult age groups.
Known for her thoughtful and attentive manner, Dr. Varghese takes time to understand each patient’s unique health goals, working in partnership to develop personalized care plans. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, elder care, and supporting patients through serious or life-limiting illnesses.

My recent visit was incredibly disappointing. The office was completely unprepared for my appointment, and it was clear that no one had confirmed my insurance beforehand. The lack of organization and professionalism resulted in a frustrating and unproductive three hour wait. I would not recommend this office.

Excellent bedside manner and an extremely friendly disposition. You can tell that she cares about her patient's well-being and isn't trying to over medicate or order unnecessary exams. Not judgemental at all of you have been slightly behind (or in my case super behind) on annual exams!

The overall experience was good. I was unaware that the check in girl also known as the medical assistant came in the room by herself to do my Pap smear. I have never heard of anyone besides a doctor or a nurse practitioner doing Pap smears. She politely apologized and asked me if I wanted the doctor to do it. She went and got the physician and it went well.
