About Dr. Rishin Shah
Prime Heart and Vascular was founded by Dr. Rishin Shah, MD, a renowned cardiac and vascular specialist, in 2017. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. Prime Heart and Vascular is one of the very few practices in the area specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of cardiac, peripheral arterial, and venous diseases. Dr. Shah believes that prevention is key; however, if needed, he will treat using the most minimally invasive approaches.
Dr. Shah has helped patients live longer, more fulfilling lives. He has prevented amputations, helped patients breathe easier, stopped their chest pain, relieved their leg pain and swelling, and comforted them in their time of need. Dr. Shah was very calm and nice. He answered all of my (youthful, lol) questions and was patient. Excellent bedside manner overall, considering why I came. I appreciated not being flicked off, which has been my experience with some other doctors. I'm hoping nothing is found during my follow ups, but either way, between his equally calm staff & him, I do feel like I'll most likely be in good hands.

Dr Shah and NP Cooksey along with their front desk and medical assistant staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cardiologist. They have great availability and took time to listen to my concerns. I didn't have to wait long at all to see them and was able to get appointments and testing scheduled within the month.

I didn’t have a good experience. I was there an hour and the doctor was only there for less than a minute. He didn’t do or ask anything. I will have to find another doctor. What a shame!

Awesome staff! From front office upon arrival, very warming and welcoming.
Lucy the MA was awesome. Very friendly and very attentive to my needs. Ashley the NP was extremely thorough with explaining exactly what the plaque meant in my arteries. Ashley sat there and listened to my concerns, and explained in detail to my understanding what was going on with me. She was extremely patient in listening to my concerns. Dr. Shan was just as amazing. He is doing everything that should be done to help me with this situation, by reaching out to my previous doctor, to get a clear understanding on what I had been dealing with in the past. Everyone was patient and not in a hurry to get me out!
I would highly recommend Dr. Shah and his entire staff. Thanks everyone for making me feel welcomed.
