Listening, being present, keeping to my word, reassuring and acknowledging the patients' concerns have helped me be able to create therapeutic and trusting relationships with the Caring for a family member with a psychotic Disorder gave me the zeal to advocate and be a voice against stigma in Mental Health. Creating a partnership relationship first with the patient. My attention and creating a plan of care that works for the patients. Everyone is an individual with unique needs.
