Dr. Rita Malhotra, a physician with more than 20 years of experience, values the opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care. As an Instructor at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, she trains future doctors to become skilled and empathetic providers.
She has a passion for serving her community and has been recognized by the mayor of NYC.
She is also the recipient of a medical scholarship from the Miss America Organization.
Thanks to her extensive experience in telehealth, she can reach patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Dr. Malhotra is a unique provider who strives to develop close personal relationships with patients and offers ample moral support.

I’ve booked with Dr. Rita Malhotra twice now and every visit has been a great experience. She’s super kind, a wonderful listener, and always takes the time to make me feel heard. I can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and goes the extra mile to be helpful. I never feel rushed and always leave my appointments feeling supported. Highly recommend her!

I initially booked an appointment with this provider because I work throughout the week & many medical providers do not operate on weekends. Dr. Rita wasn’t even aware of my initial appointment & ended up calling me the next day & I ended up accepting care because I needed help! Upon coming to a conclusion on what my prescription would be, she said she’d sent it within the next 24 hours. Nearly a week later, there’s been no prescription sent & she also never responded to my messages. Listen to the other reviews!

The doctor said she would send me the prescriptions but didn’t. I messaged her, and she said she would send them “tomorrow,” even though it’s urgent. She still hasn’t sent them. Why do I have to chase after her? I feel like it’s because I said I’m from Israel and she doesn’t want to help me. If that’s the case, I will report it

I had a call with her and then never got any type of follow up and was never reached out to again. Seemed helpful and understanding during the call, but requested payment through Venmo and never followed up with requesting lab work like we had discussed. I ended up going to another doctor and got better, faster help.
