Dr. Robert Blake Werner is a compassionate psychiatrist who is dual certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General and Addiction Psychiatry. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, completed his Psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, and pursued a fellowship in Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Werner currently offers virtual consultations to patients in NY, CT, and Idaho from all communities and backgrounds through his private practice.
He strives to prioritize his patients' comfort and convenience in mental healthcare by developing collaborative treatment plans that address a wide range of issues while keeping each patient's unique mental health needs and preferences at the forefront. Both medication management and therapy services are available, with an emphasis on improving overall health and fostering interpersonal growth.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Idaho residents, Dr. Werner is unable to prescribe controlled substances (benzodiazepines and stimulants) at this time.
Dr. Werner utilizes Charm EMR for record keeping and prescribing, and requests that patients create a patient account in order to facilitate improved communication, appointment scheduling, and refill requests. The request for setting up an account will be sent at the time the initial appointment is made and is separate from your Zocdoc account. Thank you.
Dr. Werner does not take insurance. You are responsible for the full appointment fee payment. A superbill can be generated upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.

Initial session: $275 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $185 for 30 minutes

Dr. Werner is not enrolled with Medicaid or Medicare and these programs do not typically reimburse patients for out of pocket care.
All other Out of Network patients are provided with a superbill (cost and associated diagnostic code) for all services rendered. Patients are encouraged to submit this to their insurance for reimbursement and will count towards any required insurance deductible. Typically once deductibles are met, insurances reimburse for a portion of care as outlined in their Out-of-Network coverage policies.
