So happy with my new doctor! I have struggled for years with finding a rheumatologist that actually understands “patient care” and I finally found him. Highly recommend !

Once I actually got to see Dr. Katz he was great! Very warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. I trust him as a physician. The front desk staff were not friendly though, and I waited 2 hours before I finally saw Dr. Katz, and then another hour for blood work and imaging. Overall great physician but don’t expect bells and whistles from the rest of the experience.

Verified online and on the phone that my he was under my insurance. Two months later I found out I owed them hundreds of out of pocket fees. They were never covered by my insurance, then they went on to claim that I made it all up.

Dr Katz and his staff were thorough, but quick and efficient. Needed to do some more testing and I have a follow up appointment in three weeks... But, I feel confident in what we discussed and how we will treat things.I've seen two rheumatologists in the suburbs and he is the only one who actually was attentive to my symptoms and test results. Strangely, I'm looking forward to going back to hear his analysis.

He was easy to talk to but I also felt like he acted like he was scribbling down information when it went nowhere. Of course you like a doctor who asks your favorite food, smart tactic. But be aware of theiraccepted insurance. Ask if they are IN NETWORK, I didn't use those key words and found out after two visits and scheduled appointments for xrays and MRIs (which I cancelled a week prior) that he wasn't covered and nobody in the office mentioned this to me. Luckily they settled on something and when I called to complain they seemed to know what it was about before I even said anything, very shady to me. Being upfront and honest is very important when you choose a new doctor.

He is lovely. His office staff is the worst. They ignore your phone calls. They couldn't be more rude & promise to call things in or send you correspondence then don't follow through. The worst.

Dr Katz was nice, wait time was terrible as he was called into the ER. My appointment also had to be rescheduled because it was double booked.

My first impression of Dr, Katz is that he has a kind manner and smiles with his eyes. This was my first appointment with him so I was unsure of what to expect and a little nervous about my decision tochange rheumatologists. After my appointment, I felt heard and overall much better about my decision. I felt comfortable with the action plan devised to help get a better understanding of my current symptoms.

Dr Katz might be a good doctor but unfortunately due to the rediculously long wait time at the office I am no longer going to see him and I must recommend that patients seek another doctor.

Was great! Everyone working was very nice and gentle! I think I have found my doc! All the other doctors in Chicago have been condescending and impersonal. I noticed immediately that my spirits were up! Thanks doc!

Loved Dr. Katz and his whole office. They make you feel comfortable and they don't rush through your appointment. So, I really do not mind wait to be seen. Because Dr. Katz does not rush in and rush out and reallylistens to what you have to say. His staff is the same too.

I have been seeing rheumatologists since I was 14 years old. I am now 28 and my first visit with Dr. Katz was more thorough than any other doctor I have seen. He is extremely detailed and makes sure to runall possible tests before giving his official diagnosis. Every person I encountered at the office was kind, informative, and helpful. As a heads up, you should be prepared to be in his office for quite awhile if it is your first visit. I was there for 3 hours, however none of my time was spent just waiting around to speak with someone. I was either filling out the necessary paperwork, with Dr. Katz, or having blood drawn or other tests taken. I appreciate the care and precision given by Dr. Katz and his staff.
