About Rochelle Schaeffer
Rochelle has been treating patients for over 25 years, providing quality and compassionate care through massage and acupuncture. Years of experience and continuing studies have enabled her to achieve positive healing results.
Trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese-style acupuncture, she may incorporate electric stimulation, cupping, herbal liniments, medical massage, gua sha, infrared heat, and other modalities. After graduating from massage school, she pursued additional training to become a certified AMMA therapist, which led her to learn acupuncture. AMMA is based on the same principles as acupuncture but without needles. Additionally, Rochelle has become certified in acupuncture for orthopedic pain management, auricular (ear) therapy, infertility, facial rejuvenation, and continues expanding her knowledge.
She graduated from New York College of Health Professions with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences and a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. After graduating, Rochelle traveled to China for extensive clinical training at Guangzhou TCM University, assisting and learning from master doctors of Chinese medicine while treating numerous medical conditions. She also studied Chinese Herbal Medicine for a year with the renowned teacher Jeffrey Yuen, which deepened her expertise in herbal medicine. Rochelle has worked alongside medical doctors, complementing Western medicine with Eastern medicine.

Rochelle went out her way to make me feel comfortable. She explained the process and what to expect. She was very gentle and caring during the session. From my visit, I found Rochelle to be knowledgeable, professional, caring and very effective.
