“For me it was a 10+ year struggle with Kiaser constantly telling me I was fine eat more fiber,take a laxative back and forth but never trying to find the actual problem and identify it but instead just treat the symptom I was complaining about.And as years went by obviously everything escalated where it was affecting much more then the way I felt,frustrated I got rid of Kiaser.Then I went looking for a Urologist that was dedicated to finding the problem.....not an easy task.But after reading tons of reveiws and searching countless times online I narrowed it to two people.I went to see Dr. Roger Kao 1st and this proved to be life changing for me as he ran countless tests and found a major issue that Kiaser never even bothered to explore.This is fairly recent mind you but in the last month or so I have went from feeling bloated and gassy and my gut feeling outright terrible to feeling much better and rarely even having gas regardless of what I eat which was non heard of prior.I didn't matter what I ate before my gut would turn upside down and get so bloated I felt terrible.....the fact this alone is gone is amazing.And as I said this is all fairly recent so hoping things continue to get better from here and staying in touch with Dr. Kao via the portal.I am 59 and never even started to fathom how much your gut plays into your health as we age,when your young to take it all for granted but your diet and life choices play into how you feel and your health so much as we age.”

About Dr. Roger Kao
Dr. Roger Kao was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After his undergraduate work at the University of Washington, he moved to the mid-west and obtained his medical degree from Chicago Medical School.
He then went on to complete his internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago. In between residency and fellowship training, Dr. Kao worked in the community as an internist at Evanston Northwestern Hospital. Dr Roger Kao is also board certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
In his free time, Dr. Kao enjoys playing the piano, listening to live music and traveling. He and his wife live in San Francisco with their two young sons.
Dr. Roger Kao is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational medical Spanish.
