Throughout his career, he has held various medical director positions focusing on musculoskeletal problems and the treatment of acute pain and illnesses. He also served as Medical Director of the Ryan White Program, a federally funded initiative providing access to healthcare and treatment for HIV-positive patients in underserved areas. When not at work, Dr. Herring enjoys spending time outdoors—gardening, hunting, fishing, or simply relaxing—with his family. He is married to Elizabeth (Libby) Herring and considers his greatest accomplishment to be his three children: Alex, Aleah, and Wesley.
