About Dr. Ronald Werter

A caring doctor who has been a resident of and podiatrist for the West Side community for the past 25 years, Dr. Werter has served as the primary podiatrist for numerous Manhattan dance companies throughout the years. He is on staff at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital and is the most experienced podiatrist on staff. A specialist in many aspects of podiatry, including heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot care, foot and toenail fungus, ingrown toenails, and sports orthopedics. Toenail fungus treatment with the new Q-Clear laser is available. Custom orthotics are made according to patient needs and footwear. In-office technologies include diagnostic ultrasound for soft tissue and ligamentous problems.
Dr. Werter earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
