“Nurse JM was very helpful, kind and patient as she assisted with my vitals and health update ie current bio, supplements/vitamins/meds, gave me pneumonia shot as I requested and made sure I had all tests & prescriptions in order. Although only my first visit with Dr. Newbold, I am very pleased with my choice as PCP as she is very efficient, thorough, caring, honest, patient and knowledgeable. Most importantly, she listened to my concerns and respected my choices which in my opinion is hard to come by these days. I am blessed to have such caring individuals on my health team. About Dr. Ronika Newbold
Dr. Ronika Newbold specializes in family medicine and is part of BayCare Medical Group in St. Petersburg, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and English literature from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. Dr. Newbold continued her medical education by completing a family and community medicine residency from Southern Illinois University in Decatur, Illinois.

I will definitely go back. The office reached out to me because some insurance info did not transfer. But the seemed like a zoc doc issue. I was seen within 5 mins of checking in. Dr Newbold and her assistant chris listened to me and I felt heard which was important. I did not feel rushed. All the staff from check in to check out were friendly I was looking fir a new primary care and im pretty sure I found what I was looking for.

My main concerns were not heard and my medical history that I communicated with the doctor were brushed off and were inferred to be inaccurate. I also was prescribed medication without communicating necessary information or proper care.

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Doctor listened to and addressed all of my concerns. They actually see you at the time of your appointment. Very little wait time, which in my experience is rare especially for a first time visit.
