I hold a Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama. My expertise includes anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, among others.

During our initial session, I will listen carefully to your mental health struggles and include you to come up with a treatment plan which could be medication or therapy or both.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I have had Kaiser for a very long time and left them for many of reasons. I obtained a new health insurances and did my research on obtaining a new Psychiatrist. Rosalid Kimani, PMHNP, listened to me, obtained a through history to assist with continuing my care. I felt heard and I agreed so much with the treatment plan that we created. I was nervous with starting over with a Psychatrist but Rosalid Kimani, PMHNP, gave me the reassurances that I made the right decision leaving Kaiser and finding a Psychiatrist that I WANTED.

I don't like how she said, Ma'am, I need to give you the right dosage. I had no idea what the standard dosage is, and she should have asked less condescendingly. Also it is insane to have the ability only to prescribe 90 days if all I need is maintenance medication I've been taking for 20 years. Just ask me to return if I need more help

I never felt pressured to take any particular medicines, any time I need adjustments due to lack of sleep etc. she quickly made them. This profile does not reflect the services this woman offers. I scheduled an appointment for a therapy session, the first thing she said to me was “what can I help you with?”. As my first therapy session, I found that strange, but I still answered because I wanted to be optimistic about session. But I was a soon interrupted by her stating that she does not offer therapy, only medicine management. A very poor experience and a complete waste of my time, especially while hoping to receive help. I am not sure if the profile error is the doctors fault or Zocdoc but either way, I am very upset about this situation. Even as I logged in for my visit, the info on the waiting screen had tips for how to prepare for therapy. I also have to add that she joined the call in a very unprofessional manner, she was sitting outside, looked preoccupied, plus coupled with her opening question - it felt very uncomfortable.

Rosiland was very nice. She wasn't so much into giving advice at first but listened to me talk about what ever came to mind. She asked a few questions more about health & emotional issues , what I was taking for depression anxiety etc. she recommended a whole new regiment for me. Will see her again in two weeks to see how I am doing on new medication.
