The waiting area was clean and adhered to Covid-19 guidelines. The paperwork was minimal and easy to complete. I was taken back to the exam room almost immediately. Maria was through when taking my health history and was great explaining what to expect from my visit. This made me very comfortable and prepared for my exam. My exam and treatment were very thorough. I felt listened to and respected by all staff, especially Dr. Brothers. I would highly recommend them for all your dermatology needs...including Botox! ??”

About Dr. Ross Brothers
Dr. Brothers is a dermatologist who joined Northwest Dermatology Group in 2018. He was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. He earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Michigan State University in 2008. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2014 and completed his intern year in Grand Rapids. Dr. Brothers completed his dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth System in 2018, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Brothers is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Providence Hospital, and the DMC. He specializes in clinical and surgical dermatology, with interests in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin cancer, and the cutaneous findings of systemic disease. When asked why he chose dermatology, Dr. Brothers says, “Your skin is the organ you wear. It is the visual representation of your overall health.” Dr. Brothers married his incredible wife in 2013 and is the proud father of two boys.

My longtime dermatologist closed her office and I was searching for another professional. I found him in Dr. Brothers. He took my issues seriously and mapped out a couple plans on the first visit. The staff was warm and welcoming. I think I found a new dermatologist and will have a long relationship with him.

I had an acute issue and needed to be seen by a dermatologist asap so I picked Dr. Brothers based on his availability. He’s very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. I was previously misdiagnosed and he figured out the issue almost immediately. I will be returning to him as my regular dermatologist.

As a first time patient, I had a great experience. I had been with my previous dermatologist for 15 years so finding a new dermatologist was something I had not been looking forward to. I decided to give Dr. Brothers a try after reading many positive reviews and I'm so glad I did. He is very personable and really took his time trying to understand my issue and explaining in detail a treatment plan.
I left with confidence in the course of action prescribed and I look forward to seeing the results. I made a follow-up appointment already and I looking forward to working with Dr. Brothers.

I feel as though my visits have all been great with Dr. Brothers. He really worked at relieving my issues with eczema. I have to admit it hasn't been easy but he never gave up on me. I hope this last remedy he has is it but if not, then I'll keep going back. At least he cares enough to keep trying.

I am a surgeon myself and my time is limited to last minute calls. Had some allergic reaction on my leg and wanted to be seen the next day. Dr Brothers and his staff were very accommodating and I was seen at a convenient time for myself and my patients. Very knowledgeable doctor and has a great friendly char side manners.
