About Dr. Ruby Greywoode
Ruby Greywoode, MD, is an Attending Physician at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Greywoode's clinical focus is on Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
In 2007, Dr. Greywoode earned her Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University. She then attended George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Greywoode began her postgraduate training in 2012 with a three-year internship and residency in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Following this, she completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2018.
Dr. Greywoode's research focuses on improving the quality of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) health care and outcomes. She also examines how social determinants of health influence the well-being of patients with IBD. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Greywoode is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.

Dr. Greywoode was one of the best doctors that I have seen. She was kind and patient to listen to what I had to tell. I am sure I over-described my medical issues, and she could easily stopped me. But no she would listen and take note instead ...Ultimately she recommended and agree to do colongscope and endoscropy on me in one operation..I sure most doctors would be hesitatnt do the two operations together for medical risk/economic reason. She is one confident and kind hearted doctor. I am so glad that i went to see Mr. Greywoode. I am recommend her to my famly members!

I am happy I found her!! She has a great bedside manner and is very patient. she was thorough in explaining everything and answering any questions I had. The staff was efficient, friendly and made sure to go over everything with me for my upcoming procedures. I would definitely recommend her. She was very professional.
