He has extensive experience in both outpatient and emergency consultation settings, treating children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. Dr. Slavkov has received advanced training in psychoanalysis through the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity and the Training and Research Institute in Self Psychology, as well as training in child, marriage, and family therapy. His areas of clinical interest include infant and early childhood mental health, trauma-informed care, and serving culturally diverse populations.
