About Dr. Ryan Cantwell

Dr. Ryan V. Cantwell is a fourth generation physician and native Atlantan. Within the field of Primary Care medicine, he particularly enjoys prevention, sports medicine and fitness, as well as participating in short-term overseas medical missions. As an Aviation Medical Examiner, he does Class I,II and III flight physicals for the Federal Aviation Administration. After his undergraduate training at Duke University in North Carolina, he earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. He was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)’s Bridges to Excellence program for their quality diabetes care and management. The Bridges to Excellence program is designed to create significant leaps in the quality of care by recognizing and rewarding healthcare providers who demonstrate that they have implemented comprehensive solutions in the management of patients and deliver safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and patient-centered care.
