He then went on to complete his doctor of medicine degree (MD) at Ross University School of Medicine where he graduated with the distinction of honors. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at St John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan where he was presented an award for outstanding resident research. He was a member of the core resident teaching faculty at St Mary Hospital in Livonia, Michigan and a member of the antibiotic stewardship committee for four years prior to his current position. He believes that quick access to care is one of the most important aspects of modern medicine, which is why he proudly offers same-day appointments for new patients and add-on visits for established patients. His areas of expertise include chronic disease management, preventive medicine, acute care, geriatrics, medical weight loss, and cardiac disease screening and prevention.
