About Dr. Saim Tahir
Dr. Tahir completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, earning a Bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology. He then attended New York University, where he obtained a Master's in Biochemistry. Following graduate school, he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete a three-year surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at Trinitas Regional Medical Center (RWJBarnabas Trinitas Hospital).
He received training in foot and ankle trauma, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, reconstruction and amputation, as well as elective forefoot and rearfoot pathologies. Dr. Tahir is Board Certified with ABPM and Board qualified with ABFAS in forefoot surgery. He is dedicated to treating both pediatric and adult patients with the highest standard of care while incorporating the latest medical advances.

I waited 2+ hours at an urgent care who directed me to a podiatrist. As a walk-in, I waited less than 10 mins, the office is meticulously clean, the staff was welcoming and courteous, and the doctor was knowledgeable and pleasant.
