About Dr. Samantha Lucas

Dr. Samantha Lucas attended her first year of undergraduate studies at Montana State University in Bozeman, when she discovered her passion for Chiropractic. In 2010, she moved to Iowa where she finished her undergraduate studies and began her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the highly accredited Palmer College of Chiropractic. This is where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Lucas is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed by the South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She purchased HealthSource of Spearfish in September of 2018 and has since strived to provide exceptional care to her patients. Throughout Dr. Lucas’ life experiences and schooling, she has developed a great desire to help people of all ages. Her chiropractic studies have given her a wonderful set of tools to make this possible. She spent additional time focusing her studies toward soft tissue therapies, rehabilitative exercise, and treatment of sports injuries, maternity chiropractic care and pediatric chiropractic care. When she’s not in the office helping others, she’s out enjoying activities like hiking, camping, fishing, boating and everything else this beautiful area has to offer. Dr. Lucas grew up in the Gallatin Valley area of Montana with 5 of her closest siblings and a large extended family. Her upbringing taught her the importance of family and enjoying the simple things in life. She married in April of 2021, then she and her husband, John, welcomed their first child in January of 2022. Dr. Lucas enjoys the small town feel of Spearfish which reminds her of where she grew up in Montana – making Spearfish the perfect place to raise a family.
