I find psychiatry a fascinating specialty due to its complex interaction of biological, psychological, and social factors. I believe in treating each patient with an approach tailored to the individual, combining therapeutic methods and medications when necessary. I completed my psychiatry residency training in the Midwest and worked for several years in a university-based hospital/medical center. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the American University of Integrative Sciences, School of Medicine, and hold a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University.
