About Dr. Sameh Abuelkhir
Dr. Sameh Mohamed Abuelkhir, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with over two decades of diverse clinical experience.
Born and raised in Egypt, Dr. Abuelkhir earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in 2001. He began his career in Egypt before moving to Dubai, where he practiced internal medicine and primary care for eight years. During his time in the UAE, he also served as Medical Director of Al Khazan Health Center and was an active member of the Diabetes and Chronic Diseases Committee of the Ministry of Health.
Following his move to the United States, Dr. Abuelkhir completed his Internal Medicine residency at One Brooklyn Health Hospitals in New York. His dedication to medical education and clinical excellence continued after residency, as he took on the role of Internal Medicine Physician at Pierre Toussaint Health Center, while also serving as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Interfaith Medical Center.
Dr. Abuelkhir combines global experience, clinical leadership, and a deep sense of empathy in every patient interaction. He is not only a skilled physician but also a proud father to three lovely daughters, which brings an added sense of compassion and family-centered care to his practice.

My overall experience began and ended with the office not been opened at the time of my appointment.
I had booked an appointment for 10am and the office hours of operation began at 11am that day.
Reading some of the other comments and it seems that this is a common problem for this place.
I will not come back.

My experience as a first time patient coming in with an issue i needed a doctor's opinion on was horrible! Office was closed for holiday observation which is fine but why accept appointments if you know you will not be in the office?

Barely spoke to the doctor because it turns out he doesn't treat what I booked my appt for. He seemed nice, but overall the experience was awful. Extremely rude and unhelpful office staff. Had to fill out the exact same medical history paperwork 3 times for who knows what reason (the doctor said himself that he has to remind them constantly how to operate the computer system??), I was told multiple times to just check “No” on a release form instead of an actual explanation of what I was or was not agreeing to until I pushed for further info, the doctor’s asst. added things to my chart that I never said, and the assistant also laughed in the corner as I clarified with the doctor what I was there for and confirmed that he was unable to assist. I was offered a referral for my needs, so I appreciate the doctor trying to help, but I hope he gets a better team working under him soon as they are simply not fit to work in this field if they cannot handle sensitive situations and info w/ grace.

Doctor was fine and the nurses were very thorough and had a caring bedside manner.
though because the front desk was extremely pushy and did not seem to know how insurance worked, it left the overall experience as extremely strange.
we are no strangers to doctors visits every year and it was the first time we had the front desk not understand how our insurance worked. not only that, as the issue was being resolved they were trying to set up the profile and force us to multitask as my partner was extremely sick.
so, even though we arrived at early, we ended up not seeing the doctor for at least 20/25 minutes.
to top it off, since it was our first time we were not aware follow up appointments needed to be made immediately. the staff seemed to look down at us and even laughed. that was the icing on the cake.
would not recommend this clinic based on the front staff and their rudeness.

I was really nervous to start with a new PCP but Dr. Sameh and his staff were absolutely wonderful! As new patients, when we arrived to the office we had to compete some additional forms, but once we were done we were seen immediately. Every doctor/nurse that assisted us was very kind, patient, thorough, and a great listener. After my visit, I went home and told my sister about them, and she was able to book an appointment within the same day! Look no further, because you’ve found your new PCP :)

This is one of the best visits I’ve ever had at a doctors office. I am normally very weary and scared of doctors or speaking to many people. I’ve never felt more comfortable amd welcomed. No judgement and nothing but love here. This will be my doctor forever!!! The nurses medical assistants the whole staff. This is now my family and I feel like I’ve gained sisters and aunts and uncles and a village just by coming once.
