Dr. Samuel Feng graduated from Shandong University Cheeloo College of Medicine and completed his residency training in internal medicine in 2003 at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. He has been board certified and recertified since then. He also completed fellowship training in clinical hypertension. Dr. Feng has been practicing internal medicine, primary care, urgent care, and hospital medicine for the past 15 years.
As an internist, Dr. Feng provides care for patients with simple to complex medical issues and acute or chronic medical problems. He also cares for his patients during hospital stays.
Dr. Feng believes in a patient-physician partnership and always puts individual patients’ needs first. He enjoys working with patients to improve their quality of life and longevity. He also values effective patient-physician communication. He truly enjoys being the primary physician and collaborating with specialists as needed to coordinate the best care for his patients.

I had a disappointing experience with this doctor. From the start, their tone was dismissive and unprofessional. I felt rushed during my appointment and my concerns were brushed off without being properly addressed. It’s important for patients to feel heard and respected, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I left feeling more stressed than supported. I hope the office takes patient feedback seriously and works on improving bedside manner. The intake lady was super sweet and as well as the woman who did my EKG.

Doctors office did mess up my appointment twice and in the end accommodated me last minute. I appreciate it. The front office does an okay job to welcome you behind closed windows. They wear mask and it’s hard to hear them behind it. The staff was professional and did their job.

Dr. Feng is excellent, took his time addressing all my questions, made skilled assessments & evaluated my entire history, not just what I went in to see him for. His staff is efficient, prepared, had all my forms ready and was so patient and kind.
Bonus: There's a walgreens right across the street so you can get your prescription at the same time! He also does bloodwork at the office, no need to go elsewhere.
He provides a wonderful service and demonstrates care for patients. He'll be my Primary going forward!

DR. Samuel Feng is very knowledgeable, kind, and respectful, he explained everything to us and was cordial and honest, we truly liked the experience in his clinic. My only recommendation is that the front-desk needs to be mindful of the waiting time when you have an appointment since we wait more than 30 minutes from the appointment's time to be seen, and that was after we inquired about the delay. Other than that I highly recommend Dr. Feng's clinic.

I didn't understand what my original Medicare and supplemental insurance would cover in my visit, so they explained it all to me and made a referral for a mammogram and Dr Feng examined me too. I made a follow up appointment there.

Arrived on time for my appointment office staff didn’t really communicate with my upon my arrival I just signed in and sat down to wait. Dr. Feng was AWESOME! He was super friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable discussing details and you could tell he’s the kind of doctor that cares and would do what it takes to help the patient. It goes without saying, he’s extremely knowledgeable. The staff in the office is no less, very friendly and accommodating. Didn’t feel like it was my first visit there and would highly recommend this doctor and office.

If you're looking for a PCP in the Northwest Houston or Cypress area, Dr. Feng is a very capable physician. I can't say much more than that.
I recently changed PCP's after several years as a patient of a very popular Family Practice physician in the area who is also part of a very large practice with multiple doctors on staff.
When I switched to Dr. Feng at Texas Wellmed Clinic, I did not realize how different it was going to be having a PCP who is a solo practitioner. He is also board certified in Internal Medicine rather than Family Medicine which also plays a huge part because unlike most family medicine doctors, Dr. Feng makes rounds everyday at several of the local area hospitals.
My biggest complaint is that their patient portal is outdated and the doctor and his staff very rarely, if ever read any messages sent thru the portal or acknowledge any medication refill requests submitted via the patient portal. This is very inconvenient.

they'll staff was friendly and knowledgeable for what they could answer. even though it was 2 hours before I was seen they were thorough with everything. the doc moved fast but listened understood why I was there. treated me better than any teledoc or er doc.

Dr. Feng practices medicine the way all doctors should. His front office staff and medical assistants are very, very friendly and great at what they do. My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Feng and we're so glad we found such a great doctor who really cares about your health and will go above and beyond to make sure that you're taken care of!
