Dr. Sana Mohamed is a fellowship trained podiatric surgeon. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and her degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mohamed completed her 3-year surgical residency training at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida, where she also served as chief resident in her final year. She then competed a reconstructive surgery fellowship at Emory University Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr Mohamed has had extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, limb salvage, forefoot, rearfoot and minimal invasive surgery. She is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). Dr Mohamed is also bilingual, and is fluent in both English and Arabic. Her clinical interests include diabetic wound care, limb salvage, and elective podiatric surgery. Outside of the office and operating room, Dr Mohamed enjoys hiking, international travel, and spending time with family and friends.
