About Dr. Sanaz Lalehparvar
Dr. Sanaz Lalehparvar graduated from Shiraz University in Iran with a bachelor's degree in science and a Master’s degree in Teaching English. Dr. Lalehparvar received her doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Lalehparvar's residency training as Chief Resident was completed at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in New Jersey where she was trained in diabetic limb salvage, wound care, pediatrics, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Lalehparvar is also experienced in elective, reconstructive and traumatic foot and ankle surgeries. Her expertise includes minimally invasive procedures such as cryolabation of neuromas, tenex for any tendonitis and bone spur removal; along with cosmetic and corrective procedures such as bunions, hammertoes, flat foot, tendon and soft tissue repair as well as all reconstructive foot and ankle surgeries.
Dr. Lalehparvar is specialized in wound care and has had multiple research publications in ulcer treatments and skin grafts.
She is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Lalehparvar is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
As a former avid basketball player and swimmer, Dr. Lalehparvar has a distinct interest in diagnosing and treating sports medicine related pathologies. She is committed to educating her patients on the biomechanics of lower extremities and providing them with the latest treatment options. Dr. Lalehparvar believes many sport related injuries can be avoided by aligning the bony structure of our foot and ankle with the use of custom-made orthotics.
She is fully fluent in English and Farsi (Persian).

Waited over an hour for my appointment, infection went untreated and now have to schedule an appointment with another provider on an emergency basis on a Saturday. Also paid for Keryflex and wasn’t informed of the risk of pseudomonas infection. She said “this always happens” when she saw that my nail was infected.

I went back to this dr after having gone to a highly recommended podiatrist who wasn’t able to properly diagnose my condition. She examined it and told me the plan for improvement .
I only went to the other podiatrist because he was more convenient. But he had no solution so I just suffered with foot pain. Never again.

Gotham Footcare is clearly a top notch entity. Dr. Lalehparvar was incredibly attentive. She communicated issues in a very clear manner and offered real resolutions in an honest fashion. I wish I remembered all of the names of the staffers, but Juanita and the entire staff were absolutely awesome in the way they received me. I look forward to my feet issues being resolved. I have total confidence after my very first visit.
