Dr. Sandra Cheng, O.D. has been with Peninsula Eye Physicians for over ten years. She is a San Francisco Bay Area native, and has an interest in contact lens fitting, general optometry, and low vision services. Dr. Cheng graduated with honors in Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. She received her Doctorate of Optometry at the renowned UC Berkeley School of Optometry in May 2000. In addition to providing general optometry, contact lens fitting, and basic eye care, Dr. Cheng has specialty training in low vision services for patients with advanced macular degeneration, glaucoma, and other eye diseases. Dr. Cheng speaks fluent English, Cantonese, and conversational Mandarin. During her spare time, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
