Hello, my name is Sandy Nguyen, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the ANCC. I have been practicing psychiatry for 9 years and have experience treating adult clients with psychiatric conditions, such as major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, sleep disorder, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD. I am passionate about providing evidence-based services that treat psychiatric and mental health conditions, and offering treatment services such as psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, medication management, and psychotherapy.
MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
