He completed his internship and residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York from 2008-2012. He was the Chief resident from 2011-2012. He has clinical experience as an Internist/Hospitalist and Primary Care Pediatrician. He completed fellowship training in Rheumatology at Stony Brook University Medical Center from 2013-2015 and was the department’s Chief Fellow during 2014-2015. Dr. Sanjay Godhwani is currently Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Rheumatology. He is a Rheumatologist and recently the Director of the John T. Mather Hospital Infusion Center in Port Jefferson, NY. Now, Dr. Godhwani is the Medical Director and rheumatologist at Wading River, with Island Rheumatology and Osteoporosis.
