Dr. Santiago Segurola graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007. Before his medical training, he earned a major in psychology and a minor in biology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas in Houston in 2010. Dr. Segurola joined Northeast Medical Associates in the fall of 2010. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has admitting privileges at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital and is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Segurola is fluent in Spanish and cares for many Spanish-speaking patients.

The waiting room was very cramped. Staff was snappy and slightly rude which is understandable but it was unnecessary however they were cheery and nice if treated well.
I arrived early just in case I needed to fill any more paperwork but all my papers were sent through ZocDoc which was nice and convenient for both me and the staff.
I could tell the staff was in a rush but I'm glad they still took me in. The nurse was friendly, polite, and communicative. However the doctor I had seemed to be very unresponsive and rushed me out. I at least got my medication regarding a concern we both had and got orders for blood work but it all seemed too quick to get a thorough background especially since I was a new patient.

Doctor Segurola is very nice and listens to people. I’ve been using him as my doctor for a couple of years now. Sometimes I feel a little rushed, but overall, he’s a great doctor that seems to care about his patients.

Dr. SEGUROLA was very good at helping me and did not want me to be in pain so he ask his staff to get me an appointment at a neurologist as soon as possible. His staff is very good at getting you quick appointments to specialists if need be. Yes I would recommend this doctor , he always does his best to help his patients .

I felt 'heard' with Dr. Segurola. He listened to my chief complaints, history of gastrointestinal issues, my own thoughts of what aliment was bugging me and together we came up with a plan to address the overall unwell feeling. The CBC panel came back and we were almost spot on. Dr. Segurola will be my family's PCP from this day forward. Thank you for caring as much you do.
