Dr. Satveet Khela is a board-certified physician specializing in adult psychiatry. She has been practicing since 2021.

After completing her training, Dr. Khela worked with medically ill patients with co-morbid psychiatric illnesses. Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

Awful experience. Never felt more discriminated against for a disability. I'm not sure how a doctor can reject you based on known characteristics. I have been seen by other psychiatrist but apparently this one doesn't see individual like me. Did not explain in any detail why I was being discriminated against. Any patient can have issues I have - bad reaction to meds for example. but I guess this doctor is just to good for some.

I am so grateful to have gotten an appointment with Dr. Khela! In short, she was very organized, professional & knowledgeable. I have been trying to get to the bottom of some mental health issues that have been been severely impacting my life and work and feel hopeful for the first time in a long time. Note, she is compassionate but really cuts to the chase which could come across as distant to some. I really liked this approach because we where able to cover an enormous amount of ground in 45 minutes.
