“It's pretty similar to most reviews on Google. The provider doctor is good but the staff are not very friendly. I think they are set in there ways and cannot relate to new patients who have no idea what is there workflow. A simple example. Doctor tells me to checkout. So I go to the reception window. No how are you, what do you need, how was your visit. Just a finger pointing me to another window. ”

“The staff were capable, lovely, and good spirited. Ruffo is good vibes, listened well, did not make me feel like I was on an assembly line. Ruffo seems to have a bit of a following in the neighborhood. A nice patient I chatted with said he is well respected - she seemed to trust him. The office is indeed a bit slower but I thought that was pretty standard for a popular doctor. ”

For the second time this year I followed the link on the providers website which took me to Zocdoc to book my appointment, and for the second time when I arrived and tried to check in I was told that I didn’t have an appointment. I told them it was booked via their own website & Zocdoc and then they found the appointment. But the damage was already done. They had another appointment scheduled with my Dr. at the same time as my appointment. They’ve had a year and I figure out how to link the two booking options or at least make it their responsibility to check the online booking every morning. Unfortunately no matter how good the Doctor is a badly managed office will absolutely ruin the whole experience.

I made the appointment on Zocdoc, however I am not a new patient at this practice. When I arrived they did not have me on the schedule and the person at the front desk told me, and I quote “oh we don’t check online appointments” this resulted in me wanting 30 minutes to be “squeezed in” like I so often experience lately, great doctor, horrible office staff. Good luck

I had a positive experience with this doctor
The doctors were great at listening to all the symptoms and were quick to try a resolution. Very thorough with making sure everything was covered and all the tests were ordered.

Very nice people and dr

Great experience with the NP and doctor. Everyone was knowledgeable and knew how to treat my condition as well as next steps. Very organized, thorough, and good bedside manner. Glad they were able to fit me in on short notice. I traveled a good amount of time to see this practice and I would do it again. The only con is I tried to contact the practice to confirm my appointment multiple times during the opening hours, and had no response. I waited maybe 40 minutes for my appointment but considering it was my first appt I was understanding it takes some time to verify insurance and all information. Thanks everyone again for all your help

The doctor was away due to emergency, but the nurse practitioner, Julia, was able to help me with all of my concerns. Very informative with her explanation about needing to wear a heart monitor and receive further testing. Very clean office and wait time was not too long!

Friendly staff and great Doctor!

He had an emergency and cane in late. His staff is great. And he still saw all of his appointments in a professional Un-rushed Manner. He listened and seemed to genuinely care.
Booked an appointment to see Dr Ruffo but was seen by the APN which wasn't a huge deal. She was very nice and provided a treatment plan. Called to check on the status of my testing appointment. I was told 7-10 days for authorization through insurance and to set up an appointment with the hospital. Here we are almost 3 weeks later, no update from the office. I called my insurance company and the have nothing on file as submitted as far as pending authorizations. I understand we are in some very stressful times but 3 weeks for cardiac testing seems a bit much? The office staff was very nice, especially the medical techs but its really upsetting someone dropped the ball here.

.Dr. Ruffo has cared for my husband for about 25 years, that is how I first met him. He now cares for me and my own heart condition. You will find him available, kind and a skilled physician..
Wait in the office was awful, but once inside - all was smooth. The nurse who does blood pressure was nice and doc seemed knowledgeable. They just need to get (a lot) better at managing the calendar
