Dr. Schlachter completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Seton Hall University, and currently serves as an Attending Professor of Medicine. At Ocean Medical Center, he treats a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions, including abdominal pain, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, gallbladder disease, liver cirrhosis, pancreatic disorders, and fecal incontinence. He is highly skilled in procedures such as colonoscopy, complex polypectomy, endoscopic mucosal resection, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound with fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA), Barrett’s treatment, fecal transplant, and advanced anorectal and esophageal testing. Dr. Schlachter enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, and is committed to combining advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care.
