About Dr. Scott Shrem
Dr. Scott Shrem was raised in Monmouth County, NJ and received his undergraduate degree from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Dr. Shrem furthered his education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Upon graduating at the top of his class from Temple, Dr. Shrem completed his training at St. Barnabas Medical Center. During his training, he completed over 1200 surgical procedures with multiple orthopedic, vascular, plastic and foot and ankle surgeons. Dr. Shrem graduated St. Barnabas Medical Center as Chief Resident in 2010 and has since been in private practice. He continues to attend educational seminars about the latest techniques in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Dr. Shrem is board certified in The American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is dual board qualified in Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery. He is an active staff member at Bayshore Community Hospital, St. Barnabas Medical Center, Middletown Surgical Center and at the Wound Care Center at Bayshore Hospital. Dr. Shrem is certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and has extensive knowledge in the latest wound care treatments. He gladly serves the communities of Hazlet, Holmdel, Matawan, and Middletown, NJ.
