“Seamus's approach felt very human, it was not like i was talking to a robot who was just writing down everything I said. There were times in my session where I felt like I ranted for about 5 minutes straight. Seamus did a good job at hitting every topic I brought up during my rant and not talking about only the last thing I said during my rant. It was nice to know he was actually paying deep attention to what I was saying. He was genuine with his responses and he knew how respond appropriately.”

Getting to know Dr. Seamus Power

I'm passionate about creating a space where you can be completely yourself without worrying about judgment. As a licensed psychologist, I've been fortunate to train in a variety of settings - from college counseling centers to specialized anxiety clinics - which have taught me that there's no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy. I have particular experience working with anxiety and OCD, and I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work. My background as a teacher and coach before becoming a psychologist really shaped how I see therapy - it's about meeting you exactly where you are and walking alongside you, as you figure things out and grow.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
