Very nice doctor listed to my concerns regarding my injuries but wasn't a provider to assist me in the required treatment options for my sustained injuries. I'd definitely recommend this provider to any one who needs general orthopedic consultation.
Dr. Thompson was polite, professional and most importantly answered all of my questions and cleared up any concerns I had.
Didn't even feel like a doctor's visit more like a close friend concerned about my health. Now I understand the wait and if he treats everyone the way he treated me, I'll wait as long as it takes because I know when I'm in the exam room with him I have his undivided attention.
Very informative! Straight to the point!
Not bad, he did his job well with the proper procedures
I found Dr. Thompson very professional and his staff was very professional. His office was very clean and pleasant. I also liked the fact that he has the therapy at the same location.
I think he is a good professional
The overall dynamics made for an excellent experience. I would recommend Dr. Sean Thompson to anyone needing an orthopedic doctor.
Sean Thompson, MD seemed to be very knowledgable. I described the problem and he tested my knee for exactly what he thought the problem is. He hit right on the nail and i'm confident that his diagnosis and treatment will have my knee back to normal in no time.
Dr Thompson was really great at listening and making sure I felt comfortable. Super attentive and extremely knowledge on the issues I was having. I would definitely recommend Dr Thompson to family and friends.
Great. Concerned and professional
After waiting for nearly 2 hours in a very small and crowded office space I was taken into a room to get x-rayed in what seemed to be equipment from 1976 (that aside, the x-raying was actually relatively quick and convenient that they did it on site), after which I was able to speak to the doctor for a few minutes. The doctor's bedside manner and interaction was lukewarm, but not necessarily bad. I didn't feel like he was shooing me out, but I didn't feel like he was really trying to understand me and my injury.
Timely, efficient, caring and professional.
After waiting about an hour and 20 minutes I was about to walk out when I was called in. The waiting room is a joke (unless it's 1986). I know it's NY, but still. And phone reception is bad in there. Dr Thompson was a nice guy and seemed to know his stuff (though I was only in there for about 10 minutes). I gave the Dr a "good" 4 star ranking because he was good. But the xray room and facilities are old and beat up looking. 1986 might be generous. If you go here, bring a lot to keep you busy with while you wait.
nice, careful very attent knew what he was doing.
very good visit.
VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE GREAT DOCTOR AND STAFF VERY SATISFIED WITH OVERALL SERVICE
he was a honest guy not just telling things to get you to keep coming back
The wait time was the worst part of the visit.
He was a little behind schedule, and I didn't get the sense that he cared much about why I was there or my condition. However, he has a wealth of knowledge as orthopedic. His diagnostic methods and analysis seem very competent.
Dr.Thompson is an excellent physician: caring, knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind and conservative in his approach. He takes time to make you comfortable and explain your health issues. I recommend him highly.
Straight to it very straight forward.
He was vey courteous and explain with detail what the diagnosis might be
It was fine except I did not receive a call to go for xrays and I was not given his more accessible office address. I was onloy givne teh option of Jamaica, Queens. I live and work in the Bronx.
Great doctor and an even better surgeon.
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING DR,THOMPSON SO FOR MY FIRST VISIT EVERY THING WHEN WELL SO I JUST GUESS I HAVE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS FROM HERE TO MY NEXT APPOINTMENT BUT HE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING,I JUST GOT TO WAIT AND SEE TILL MY NEXT APPOINTMENT.
Dr. Thompson has an excellent bedside manner. Although the wait-time wasn't great, doctor was very professional.
He is not in the NY office much..and office gave me conflicting time to the zoc doc appt so I recieved conflicting text reminders. Had to call to confirm several times. Doctor was patient with me, answered questions and was not rushed! I had xray right there- did not have to go else where! Great technician too!
He was very gentle and showed concern. He explained the possible causes of my knee pain in detail. A great doctor and I usually hate going to doctors.
professional, concise and courteous.
Great, personable doctor.
Dr. Thompson was thorough and courteous. I'd recommend him to my family and friends
Great guy with very good insight as to looking at all possible options before jumping to any conclusions or recommendations.
Was very kool and polite
