I have resided in the Las Vegas community for 17 years and have been practicing medicine for 20 years. I completed my medical education at the University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital. Along with many people in our community, I too have faced major challenges during my life. With the encouragement, love, and constant support of some of my colleagues and friends, I was able to open my solo practice in 2002 because I wanted to care for my patients the way I would want my family and friends to be treated.
I believe my practice is unique because, as a six-time cancer survivor and thus a patient, I can personally relate to the importance of quality healthcare, but perhaps more importantly, individualized healthcare. Surviving cancer has allowed me to realize that we need to live each moment to its fullest. I am now expanding the scope of my services because I have been given a second chance in life, and I want to reach out to anyone facing similar challenges.
My philosophy and approach to life and medicine is basic honesty and integrity coupled with compassionate service. I believe any illness comes from the derangement of our internal milieu. If we correct our internal milieu, our whole being is corrected, and the physical symptoms of disease tend to disappear. I also believe that with both a traditional and holistic approach to medicine, total wellness can be achieved and maintained. I emphasize the importance of the physician helping their patients to achieve complete wellness internally and externally.

My blood pressure was extremely high they let me go home and I had a stroke while driving crashed my car and I am still in icu as a result

The office staff was very nice, friendly and welcoming. Thank you ladies ?? However, the doctor’s bedside manner could’ve been better she did not listen to what I was saying and was getting an attitude with me to where I just let her talk. Was even a bit dismissive..
I understood that I could not get my FMLA there and referral which I wasn’t upset about but she could’ve been more attentive and when she said bye have a nice day she didn’t even look at me.

Dr. Sood was wonderful. She comfortably questioned my medications, asked about social and professional life and suggested alternatives to help with the negatives I have with a certain medication my prior doctor had me on. She ordered lab work and scheduled a follow up in 2 weeks. Very kind and seems truly caring. Happy to have found her.

I always know there will be a wait to see the doctor so I won’t complain about that. I do not like her bedside manner. I do understand she’s the doctor but she’s a bit condescending when i asked questions. I’m going to the doctor because i have a problem, I don’t want you to laugh or judge me when I ask you a question.

I felt she was rushed and did not listen. She did nothing for me during my visit. I am on a strong medication that she dose not believe in and would not even give me a temp prescription till the blood work came back. It’s a serious med you can’t quit cold turkey so. I was extremely upset.

I recently moved to Henderson Nevada and Dr. Sood's name popped up when I began researching the best doctors in the area. She definitely exceeded my expectations! Not only is she incredibly patient (I had a long list of questions), she is also amazingly smart, and took the time to carefully explain the details of my condition and what to do moving forward. She is now my primary health care provider and I highly recommend her!

I was very at ease with Dr. Sood . She went over documents I brought from my previous health clinic. She studied all the factors related to my medications and my current health. She checked me for swelling and any indication of too much sodium in my body. She also gave me a prescription to clear up a problem with my ears.

Dr. Sood and her assistant ,whose name I think was Joell, made a lasting impression on me. I was able to be completely honest and I felt very comfortable spilling out exactly why I was there and what I needed. Both seemed genuinely interested with my concerns and spent a long time discussing my options.

I had to do a lot of paperwork before the exam. Dr. Sood was extremely through and checked out a lot of things that I had been ignoring or that a previous Dr had not covered. I left with prescriptions that I needed badly and a new one. This was not covered by my insurance.
She wanted to see me in two weeks and this probably would have been addressed. But I have to take Uber and I haven't seen her again yet. I was also ordered lab work and another test. She was very easy to talk to and probably deserved a 5th star but I'm leaving one off for the insurance issue because my pharmacy contacted the office and they sent another of the same medication. Probably a front office error but still :(
