Dr. Seth E. Kaplan, Director of the Center for Voice and Swallowing Disorders, is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Buffalo, completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kaplan treats all disorders of the ear, nose, and throat and is subspecialty trained in Laryngology, professional voice, and swallowing disorders. He is an active member of the Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Laryngological Association, and The New York Laryngological Society.

Dr. Kaplan's diversified expertise encompasses all disorders of the ears, nose, and throat for both adult and pediatric patients. He is actively involved in clinical research and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His research has focused on neuro-laryngology, airway, and breathing disorders. He continues to present at national and international meetings on these topics. Highly recognized by his peers, Dr. Kaplan is also directly involved in the education of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, and medical students.
