About Dr. Seyedehsan Navabi
Dr. Seyedehsan (“Ehsan”) Navabi is a former Director of both the Inflammatory Bowel disease and Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he served as Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology.
He obtained his medical degree from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in Iran and completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at Pennsylvania State University. He is board certified in gastroenterology, obesity medicine and internal medicine.
As an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, he trained fellows and had extensive experience managing a wide range of complex disorders related to esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver and pancreas in a tertiary care setting.

The doctor was friendly and knew exactly how he wanted to treat my symptoms. The elevator to the office was out of service so I had to carry my toddler and stroller up the stairs. I noticed another patient with crutches having to hop up the stairs. One of the front desk ladies was a little short with me and bluntly said “we don’t accept Zocdoc forms so I don’t know why we have that”. I did receive a link to fill out the forms but the code it provided me did not work so I wasn’t able to fill out the forms. I then called the same front desk lady and she told me “We don’t deal with that you’ll have to call United Medical Doctors to figure that out. We only send the link”. I call the United Medical doctors and left a voicemail, but no one called back. I spent about 20 minutes filling this paperwork out with my toddler next to me. Needless to say the experience before seeing the doctor was stressful and annoying.

This happened to be a same day and at the. end of the day and I still received outstanding service from front desk, appointment setter and the doctor who didn't rush me and this being the last appointment.
