About Dr. Shabbir-Husain Jamali
Dr. Shabbir Jamali, MD earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Dow Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, where he was awarded the “Best Intern of the Year” for his outstanding performance. He then pursued a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Connecticut. Dr. Jamali is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), Texas Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy (TSGE), Texas Gulf Coast Gastroenterological Society (TGCGS), Texas Medical Association (TMA), Harris County Medical Society (HCMS), and the Tomball Chamber of Commerce.

Dr Jamali is a normal human before he is a Dr. Very comforting, very clear in his explanations. He did not rush me, answered all my questions and gave me a suggested plan for the proper screenings in such a comforting, no pressure way. Stephanie is very pleasant and polite. Tori was awesome and funny. The young lady I check out, I'm sorry I did not get her name, was amazingly helpful. Great staff, amazing Dr.

The office is clean. The staff is efficient and friendly. Dr Jamali has such a calm , gentle bedside manner. He is very attentive: he’s a good listener and he explains things very well. He answers your questions and address your concerns. There is no idle time for unimportant chit chat as I’m sure he’s very busy, but you don’t feel rushed or neglected. I have known Dr Jamali for years. I have full confidence in him.

Dr. Jamali was recommended to me by a trusted doctor who told me, "He is very good. He will fix you up." From the moment he stepped into the door of the treatment room, I felt he was correct. Friendly, very professional, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, and showed compassion. He didn't rush and made me feel he really cares about helping me with my stomach problems.
