About Dr. Shalin Panchigar
Dr. Panchigar is originally from Pasadena, Maryland. After graduating from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, he has been completing his residency training at Detroit Medical Center. He has been trained in all aspects of podiatric surgery and medicine including wound care, sports medicine, trauma, and more.
He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He looks forward to meeting his patients and joining the Capital Podiatry team!
His hobbies outside of work include running, biking, and hiking.

I can't recommend this office or Dr. Panchigar enough. I came to him for a second opinion after another podiatrist left me with no explanation and no relief. Within minutes of walking into the exam room, he knew exactly what the problem was and gave a thorough explanation. He addressed some of the symptoms I was having before I even had a chance to tell him about them. He's very personable and knows how to explain things in a way that's easy to understand without dumbing them down. And most importantly, just one week after starting his treatment plan I have experienced so much relief. After months of pain and trouble walking, I couldn't be more grateful. But it's not just him that's amazing! All of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember my nurse's name because she was so sweet and efficient at the same time and deserves a shout-out! There was also next to no wait and x-rays took only a few minutes. Absolutely no complaints!

Dr. Panchigar had great bedside manner, answered all my questions, was very patient, and empathetic based on my worrying and concerns. I would definitely recommend him as a podiatrist! No pain and he checked through out my appointment to see if I was in pain and if I had any additional questions. Very accommodating and knowledgeable! Went through a clear treatment plan and what I should purchase for home use. Awesome visit.

Dr. Shalin Panchigar was very friendly and communicated what the plan was for the appointment and for after care in a easy to understand and remember way. All the nurses were friendly as well! I was so glad to have been able to make a same day appointment!
