What should a new client know about working with you?

All new patients will be scheduled for two one hour sessions. The first session is with parents only to gather their perspectives about the child's difficulties, previous history, and to begin discussing a treatment plan. The second session is with the child to discuss current symptoms, formulate a diagnosis, and establish a treatment plan with the child and parents.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The child is the primary focus of each session. Parent and school input is important, obviously, and will be obtained at the beginning of each session. After time spent separately with the parent and the child, we will all come together to discuss the next step in the treatment process each session.
